How can I get a child with ADD/ADHD to control their behavior?

Using a 'Cue'-ing System

Set up a 'cueing' system to let the child with ADD/ADHD know when behavior is escalating. This teaches the child self-regulation of their behavior, rather than the child relying on you to regulate his/her behavior. I recommend the following book for an alternative look at ADHD.
