Depression can occur at any age in an individualīs life but is most likely to have an onset in the middle twenties. Likewise, depression may disappear in some peopleīs lives, but not in otherīs. It does appear, however, that the length of the episodes are longer in early years rather than later. It does seem to end completely in about 2/3 of the cases.
